RI solar tax credits & incentives

When you install solar in Rhode Island, you may qualify for these cost savings:

Federal tax credit for 30% of the cost. You’ll get this credit if you buy your system or get a loan (not lease). This credit is available through 2032.
Renewable Energy Fund (REF) grants worth up to $5000, determined by system size.
Small Scale (REG) Renewable Energy Growth Program offers bill credits to qualifying homeowners with solar.
